One day practical course - where your car is the classroom.
Seating and in-vehicle safety systems
- We show you how to optimise your seating position and explain how this relates to new in vehicle active safety systems such as SRS Airbags, Seat Belt pre-tensioners and Active Head Restraints
- We also show you how to optimise your vision by adjusting your mirrors differently.

Emergency braking (dry & wet)
- We demonstrate ABS (anti-lock braking systems) and teach you how to use the brake pedal to minimise your stopping distances.
- We also discuss and teach you how to brake and steer to avoid a hazard.

Skid recognition and avoidance
- We discuss and demonstrate front and rear wheel skids, their causes and how to avoid them. We also discuss how to recognise and remedy each of these skids.

Stopping & following distances
- With nearly 70 % of all accidents being nose to tail, this is the most important part of the day.
- We show you how long it actually takes to stop a motor vehicle at varying speeds.
- We then demonstrate following distances.
